Training on Making T-shirts with Orangutan Pictures (October 27-29, 2023)

Siharang karang, Padangsidimpuan Hutaimbaru;- Scorpion Foundation facilitated a training in making t-shirts with orangutan images at the Job Training Center (BLK) of South Tapanuli.


This event was held from 27 to 29 October 2023 in collaboration between the Scorpion Foundation and a local organization Dongan Ni Mawas.


The T-shirts depicting the Tapanuli orangutan will later be sold at tourist attractions in North Sumatra province as souvenirs for tourists. This is expected to develop livelihood of communities living around the Tapanuli orangutan habitats.
