Bulu Mario, Sipirok;- Together with BBKSDASU and local community, the Scorpion
Foundation carried out a regular patrol in the Dolok Sibual-buali Nature
Reserve in the Bulu Mario village section, Sipirok subdistrict, South Tapanuli
Regency on October 24, 2023.
Regular patrol is needed
in this village because orangutans often appear near residential areas of the
village. This can endanger the lives of the orangutans themselves.
Patrols in this village can
also minimize wild animal hunting activities and encroachment.
