Awareness Campaign through religious activity (October 22, 2023)
Posted on 08:40 November 29th, 2023

The Scorpion Foundation carries out outreach and awareness about the importance of saving the environment/forest and the increasingly rare Tapanuli orangutan.

As usual, Scorpion first contacted the pastor and provided some background information about Tapanuli orangutans and their habitats in Tapanuli.

In his speech, Rev. Arianus Lase asked his followers to help protect the Tapanuli orangutans and their habitats in the forest adjacent to their village. This awareness/socialization event was held at the BNKP Church in Silahia hamlet of Batu Horing village on Sunday 22 October 2023.
