Malaysia;- From the 11th to the 14th of October 2023 the Director of Scorpion Foundation, Ali Bangun Gea, attended the Asia For Animals (AFA) Conference in Kuching, Malaysia.

Scorpion's participation in the conference was to build a network with animal lovers from various countries. During the conference, the Scorpion took part in a series of discussions with the Macaque Coalition- a sub-group under the AFA where the Scorpion Indonesia Foundation was included as a member.

The formation of the Macaque Coalition sub-group is intended to strengthen the voice of international NGOs in articulating the importance of conservation of macaques. Still in the series of the conference activities, the Scorpion Foundation also held an exhibition about its activities at the Macaque Rescue Center in Batangtoru sharing a booth with the Animals Asia Foundation (AAF)
