The Unlucky Bears in Medan Zoo Waiting for Improved Enclosure (September 29, 016)
Posted on 11:48 September 29th, 2016

Sun bears live in poor enclosure in Medan zoo. No grass, no trees. Upon question of Scorpion investigator, a zoo officer said, grass and trees will be planted inside the bear enclosure soon. “Previously, trees were already planted there but damaged by the bears,” the officer said.

“We are now working on repair in another enclosure. When it is done, we will improve the bear enclosure including planting of grass and trees,” the officer told Scorpion.
