Participation in Veterinarian Workshop: Vet to Basic (October 24-27, 2023)

Ketapang, Kalimantan Barat;-The Scorpion Indonesian Foundation was invited by the IAR Indonesia Foundation to take part in a veterinary workshop entitled "Vet to Basic" at the Sir Michael Uren building in Ketapang, West Kalimantan province from the 24 to 27 of October 2023.


The participation of the Scorpion Foundation in this workshop is a follow up of a discussion between the Director of the Scorpion Foundation, Ali Bangun Gea and Ms. Kermele from IAR Indonesia Foundation who met at the AFA conference in Kuching, Malaysia in October 2023.


At the workshop in Ketapang, the Scorpion Foundation was represented by doctor (vet.), Abdul Rais. A number of experts in the field of wildlife health appeared as resource persons discussing, among other things: Simple methods for examining animal blood, effective and efficient necropsy, biosecurity and biosafety, and fluid therapy.
