Joint Patrol to Monitor Illegal Poachers in Bulu Payung, Sipirok, North Sumatra (July 11, 2020)

The Wildlife Authority of North Sumatra (BBKSDA) and Rangers from Scorpion Foundation carried out a joint patrol in Bulu Payung village of Sipirok subdistrict, South Tapanuli regency. This patrol aimed at monitoring illegal wildlife hunting in this village.

Scorpion foundation got the information about some individuals who regularly visit this village for hunting wildlife. During the patrol on the 10th of July 2020 the patrol team interviewed some local villagers but did not find the hunters.
