Field Staff of Scorpion continued supporting roles of religious leaders to give lectures in churches with inclusion of message of the importance of protecting Tapanuli orangutans. On Sunday sermon (2020/10/18) at GSJA Chruch (Gereja Sidang-Sidang Jemaah Allah) in Batu Horing Village, Batang Toru Subdistrict in South Tapanuli regency, Christian Preacher Arianus Lase asked his audience to help government effort to protect Tapanuli orangutans and several protected species such as tiger, bears, birds, because these animals were created by God and humans must take responsibility to protect them. Approximately 30 people attended this Sunday sermon.
