Sales of turtle eggs are still common in Banda Aceh
city, Sumatra. The eggs are on sale at the price IDR4,000 (about 40
cents US dollar) each.
If
the turtle eggs sale continues, then it will disrupt turtle wild population.
In relation to the turtle egg sale, The Scorpion Wildlife Foundation has sent a report and photographs to Wildlife Authority (BKSDA) in Aceh in the hope presumably BKSDA Aceh can provide awareness to the traders of turtle eggs.
