The Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA) in North Sumatra province, accompanied by the Indonesian Species Conservation Programme (ISCP) and the Scorpion Foundation released three protected mammals in Sicike-cike Natural Recreation Park in Dairi district of Sumatra province on Saturday (April 29, 2017). The mammals include two leopard cats ( one male and one female) and one slow loris.

The three animals were confiscated from illegal owners in Medan but no legal process was enforced to the owners because they were cooperative in handing over their animals to the BBKSDA in North Sumatra.
