Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).
The Wildlife Authority and Scorpion rescue a Slow Loris from Halaban, Langkat, Sumatra (October 23, 2019)

 A team from the Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA) in North Sumatra and Scorpion Foundation rescued a slow loris (Nycticebus sp.) from an illegal owner in Halaban village, Besitang, Langkat, North Sumatra on Wednesday (2019.10.23). This animal was found by a local resident (Mr. M. Jamin) on his farm area in Halaban village, captured and kept it home.

With the help from Field Coordinator of Orangutan Information Center (OIC)- Rio who informed the BBKSDA, the slow loris was finally rescued from Halaban and is now placed in Sibolangit Animal Rescue Center for possible returning back in the wild.
