Posted on 16:34 October 29th, 2019

(2019.10.14) - South Tapanuli.

Forest rangers from the Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA) and from Scorpion Foundation carried out a joint patrol on Arse Nauli village in Arse Subdistrict, South Tapanuli, North Sumatra. The patrol aims at preventing human-orangutan conflicts in the village.

Tapanuli orangutans frequently come to this village. So far, they only cling on trees but do not go to the farm area of the villagers.
