Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).
Consolidation Meeting with LSGK to Protect the Biodiversity In Aceh Province through Law Enforcement (October 17, 2019)

An Aceh based Non-Government Organisation (NGO), Lembaga Suar Galang Keadilan (LSGK) and the Scorpion Wildlife Foundation (also known as Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring Group) from North Sumatra carried a joint consolidation meeting in Banda Aceh to discuss partnership in helping the government to protect the biodiversity through law enforcement.

During the meeting, representatives from both organisations discussed about the illegal capture of wildlife in Aceh and how they were transported to North Sumatra and to some other cities including Jakarta. According to the monitoring of the Scorpion Foundation, the wildlife from Aceh continue to enter the wildlife markets in Medan.

Currently, wildlife shops in Medan are increasing in number selling wildlife coming from Aceh.
