Sosialisation and Awareness Campaigns for Orangutan protection at GKPA Church, Batu Satail Village, South Tapanuli (June 28, 2020)

On the 28th of June 2020, Scorpion Foundation and the GKPA Church in Batu Satail Village carried out socialization and awareness activity for protection of the environment and Tapanuli orangutan. The preacher on the Sunday Sermon, Irwan Hutahuruk, included the urgency of protecting tapanuli orangutan and the environment in Tapanuli Ecosystem in his talk. Prior to the Sunday Sermon, Scorpion provided information about Tapanuli orang-utan. Approximately 100 persons participated in this sermon. The GKPA Church (Gereja Kristen Protestan Angkola) in Batu Satail Village locates near the border of Dolok Sibual-buali Nature Reserve-the habitat of the Tapanuli orangutan.
