Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).
Annual Work Plan with Wildlife Authority (BKSDA) to eradicate wildlife crimes is signed (June 22, 2020)

Wildlife Authority Agency (BBKSDA) in North Sumatra and Scorpion Foundation (also known as Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring Group) signed a joint Annual Work Plan 2020/2021 at BBKSDA Office in Medan on Monday (22 of June 2020). The AWP will focus on prevention of wildlife crimes in conservation areas in North Sumatra province, awareness programme, wildlife confiscation, animal rescue, etc.

During implementation of the previous AWP (2019/2020), Scorpion Foundation has helped BBKSDA field team, worked together in the field in rescuing 15 wild animals from the threat of poaching and illegal trade, including 7 Tapanuli Orangutans (on human-wildlife conflict occurred), 5 eagles from illegal keeping, a slow loris, leopard cat and civet in area of North Sumatra Province.
