RRI Radio Dialogue Discusses Forest Fire and Its Impact on the Wildlife (September 25th 2019)

The New Executive Director of Scorpion Foundation, Ali Bangun Gea, was invited to be a speaker at the "Medan Actual Issues” dialogue at the Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Pro 1 Medan 94.3 FM station in Medan.

This dialogue was broadcast live on 25th September 2019 from 8 to 9 am with the theme "Forest Fire and their impacts on the environment and wildlife". In the dialogue, Ali Bangun expressed his concerns about the forest fires and haze which have become hot issues in Medan, the capital city of North Sumatra province.

The impact of the forest fire posed threat not only on human being but also on the wildlife. In this live dialogue program, Ali Bangun asked all parties to prevent destruction of the wildlife habitat. In this opportunity, Ali also introduced Scorpion Foundation’s activities through the dialogue to the general public.

Chairman of the Forum for Sumatran Orangutan Conservation (FOKUS), Mr. Kusnadi was also invited to this dialogue.
