"Wild boar – dog fight is a long-standing tradition in West Java, but if the tradition has a bad influence and a negative impact on social life, the tradition should be eliminated and even forgotten," Ade Sukalsah, head of publication section of the West Java Government told bbc.com
"West Java provincial government asked district governments to issue a regulation prohibiting Dugong performances, “ Ade said.
The bbc.com also quoted a statement of Director of Wildlife Investigation at the Scorpion Foundation, Marison Guciano saying the wild boar – dog fight must be stopped because it is an animal cruelty.
