GNLP Authority Arrests Three Bird Hunters in Langkat, North Sumatra (February 24, 2016)

The Gunung Leuser National Park (GNLP) authority arrested 3 bird hunters inside the GNLP area in Langkat district, North Sumatra Province of Indonesia. The hunters are:  Uus, Sayuti,  and Eko.


Head the GNLP authority Andi Basrul told the press on Wednesday (24/2) that the three hunters were arrested because they hunted birds inside the GNLP area in Langkat. Their arrest began when officers on patrol in the Landak River, Langkat, found them on Tuesday (23/2/2016) hunting birds inside National Park area without permits.
