Seven stuffed deer heads arrived at the office of Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) North Sumatra chapter on Friday (26/02/2016) for identification. They were confiscated from a barbershop at Jalan Juanda Medan.
The stuffed animals body parts, were confiscated by Brigade Macan Tutul (Leopard Brigade) of the Forest Police Rapid Response Unit (SPORC/Satuan Polisi Hutan Reaksi Cepat) on Saturday, 20th of February 2016.
The stuffed animal heads are suspected of protected deers.
The Leopard Brigade also confiscated an animal skin which was still unknown what the species was.
SPORC is a working unit under the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry to combat environment and forestry crimes .
