The residents of the villages of Wek I and Wek II, Batangtoru subdistrict, South Tapanuli, celebrated Prophet Muhammad's spiritual journey from Haram Mosque to Aqsa Mosque and to Sidrah al-Muntaha at Istiglal Mosque Batangtoru on Wednesday night, March 25, 2020. The guest speaker at the celebration brought the title of the lecture "Purifying heart and protecting fellow living beings."
In his lecture, besides explaining the story of the Prophet Muhammad's spiritual journey, Assamsir Nasution also included appeal to about 50 audience to always protect our nature and creatures in our forests, especially birds and orangutans, because they are God's creatures.
