Awareness Campaign at Jamik Mosque, Central Tapanuli, Sumatra (April 23, 2021)

On a Friday sermon at Jamik Mosque, Bona Lumban Village, Tukka Subdistrict in Central Tapanuli, an Islamic ulema, Muhammad Akhir Panggabean, delivered a message in campaigning for the protection of orangutans and the Batangtoru ecosystem to approximately 100 participants. Muhammad Akhir told his audience not to kill Tapanuli orangutans which still exist in the surrounding area of the village.

Dalam khotbah Jumat di Masjid Jamik, Desa Bona Lumban, Kecamatan Tukka di Tapanuli Tengah, seorang ulama Islam, Muhammad Akhir Panggabean, menyampaikan pesan dalam mengkampanyekan perlindungan orangutan dan ekosistem Batangtoru kepada sekitar 100 peserta. Muhammad Akhir menyampaikan kepada audiensnya untuk tidak membunuh orangutan Tapanuli yang masih ada di wilayah sekitar desa.
