The wildlife Investigator from Scorpion Foundation discovered another two wild monkey (Macaca fascicularis) kept by local people in different place at Wek I Batang Toru Village, South Tapanuli, North Sumatra. The monkeys kept without drinking water 24/7, chained, lived in small cage. The local people believe, keeping wild monkey can protect their livestock chicken away from virus dieases.
Until the last visit on 10th of June 2020, Scorpion-Wildlife Monitor discovered there are still 6 wild monkey kept cruelly in North Sumatra, and need to be rescued by the wildlife authority agency.
