Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).
Again, NGO Insists BKSDA to Confiscate Protected Species On Sale in Medan (December 1, 2015)

Scorpion foundation wrote again to BKSDA in North Sumatra insisting to confiscate a protected species, Nias parrot,  on sale in Pasar Bintang market in Medan. In a letter on Tuesday (1st of December, 2015) Scorpion reported its finding of the protected species on sale in Pasar Bintang Medan.

In the same letter, Scorpion also urged BKSDA to close down all illegal bird markets because on Sunday (29/11) approximately 2,700 birds were on sale in Medan (Jalan Imam Bonjol, Jl. Irian, and Cemara Asri Housing Complex.
