Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).
SCORPION Reports Illegal Wildlife Trade in Bandung (September 18, 2015)

SCORPION Foundation delivered in person to Conservation Agency (BKSDA) West Java in Bandung a report of illegal wildlife sale in Sukahaji Wildlife Market in Bandung, West Java province of Indonesia. The report based on direct observation of Scorpion Investigator to the market.

In the visit on 15th of September 2015 at Jl. Peta, Bandung SCORPION found Nias parrot (Gracula robusta) and Banded Linsang (Prionodon linsang) on sale.

In the letter SCORPION requests that BKSDA West Java enforce the law against violator of Law no. 5/1990 and Government Regulation number 7/1999.

Carbon copy of the report is also sent to Director of Biodiversity Conservation at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, and to the Mayor of Bandung.
