Scorpion Foundation Officers Visit IPB University for a Comparative Study  on Primate Handling (September 4, 2024)

Bogor: - 

Four officers from Scorpion Indonesia Foundation (Ali Bangun Gea, Angel Novelyn Leonard, Dedi Daulay, Ikhwan Saleh) visited the Center for Animal & Primate Studies (Pusat Studi Satwa & Primata/PSSP) at the IPB University in Bogor on the 4th of September 2024. Purpose of the visit was for a comparative study and training in handling primates.

During the visit the team had a training on caring for the animals and primates. Four primate experts of IPB gave presentations to the participants of the comparative study  including Dr Entang Iskandar, Drh Suryo Saputro, MSi, Drh Permanawati and Drh Amelia Diyan Safitri.  The experts talked about primate behaviors, management of primate breeding, and primate health issues.
