Joint Patrol in Lumban Lobu Village, Arse Subdistrict (September 25, 2024)

The BBKSDASU field office in Sipirok carried out a joint patrol in Lumban  Lobu village, Arse subdistrict of South Tapanuli Regency on the 25th of September 2024. The village located near Dolok Sipirok Nature Reserve-the main habitat of tapanuli orangutan in East Block Batangtoru Forest.

This patrol aimed to monitor the installation of animal snares in the area. During the visit, no snare was found but the visit was still quite useful as a preventive measure.
