Posted on 13:50 May 20th, 2024

The Wildlife Authority  (BBKSDASU) and Scorpion Indonesia Foundation visited Batu Satail village on April 30, 2024. The aim of the visit was  to find out information about orangutan presence, illegal logging, and illegal hunting.

No illegal activity was discovered during this mission, but the visit to this village was very important to ensure that there no human-orangutan conflict occurred in the village.
