Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).
Monitoring Wildlife Trade in Sibolga, North Sumatra (August 18, 2020)

Scorpion Foundation and the local office of the Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA) carried out a joint patrol at the Sibolga seaport on Tuesday afternoon (18/08/2020). The patrol aimed at monitoring smuggling of wildlife through this seaport.  No smuggling of wildlife was found on this seaport. However, when the team visited a wildlife market in Sibolga, the team found two protected birds on sale openly in a wildlife shop in Sibolga.
