On Tuesday, 2nd of April 2024, the Forest
Management Unit (KPH) Area X Padangsidimpuan together with Scorpion Indonesia
Foundation team carried out a joint patrol in Gapuk Tua Village, Marancar
subdistrict of South Tapanuli Regency.
During the mission, the patrol team discovered some timbers which
were allegedly stolen from the Dolok Lubukraya Nature Reserved (one of the most
important oangutan habitat) in Tapanuli.
Further investigation of the timber case was still ongoing.
