Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).
Illegal Wildlife in Depok Market (Solo) Reported by Scorpion to BKSDA Central Java (April 29, 2016)

 The Scorpion foundation today (Friday, 29/04) sends a new report to the head of the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) Central Java because various illegal wildlife are on sale in Depok wildlife market in Solo, Central Java.

 Scorpion investigator visited this market on Wednesday (27/4) an found many wildlife on sale here. From the visit, Scorpion found that the wildlife entered Depok market without distribution permit (SATS-DN) from BKSDA where the animal came from.

 According to Regulation of the Minister of Forestry No. 447/Kpts-II/2003 concerning administration directive of harvest or capture and distribution of the specimens of wild plant and animal species (Article 61), “All and any activities of domestic commercial distribution shall be covered by Permit for Domestic Transport of Wild Plants and Animals (SATS-DN).” Therefore, wild animals distributed without SATS-DN are illegal.
