The Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA) in North Sumatra Evaluates Scorpion Activity (August 1, 2017)

The Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA) in North Sumatra evaluated activity of Scorpion Foundation at the BBKSDA meeting room in Medan on Tuesday (1st of August 2017). The evaluation meeting was chaired by the Head of Administration of the BBKSDA, Tri Atmojo. Head of Technical Section, Irzal, and staff members from various sections also participated in the meeting.

The meeting started with presentation of Scorpion's Programme Director, Gunung Gea about activities carried out during 2016, followed by questions and answers. The BBKSDA team also provided some recommendations for improvement of Scorpion annual work plan in 2017.

In March 2016, the Scorpion Foundation signed an agreement with BBKSDA in North Sumatra to eradicate wildlife crimes in conservation areas of North Sumatra province.
