The Two Confiscated Birds in Stabat Released Back in the Wild (December 20, 2016)

Two protected birds, which were recently confiscated in Stabat, Langkat, released by the Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA) North Sumatra in Sibolangit forest. A source at the BBKSDA confirmed to Scorpion Wildife Trade Monitoring Group on Tuesday (20/12/2016)

The team from Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring Group and from the Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA) in North Sumatra rescued the two protected birds from illegal petting in Kacangan Village, Secanggang sub-district of Langkat in North Sumatra province on Tuesday (13th of December 2016). The release of these two birds took place on Sunday (18/2/2016)

These two birds have now been released in the wild.
