The MoEF’s Law Enforcement Agency brings tiger skin traders to prosecutor
The provincial office of the Law Enforcement Directorate General at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) brought two tiger skin traders to prosecutor in Langkat district of North Sumatra province. The prosecutor will then bring the case to the Langkat court in North Sumatra.
The two traders (Kata Surbakti and Meksi) were arrested in February 2018 for capturing the tiger in the Gunung Leuser National Park in Langkat district. The MoEF officers captured the traders while they were trying to sell the tiger skin.
This tiger has been handed over to prosecutor. (pojoksumut)
