Sosialisation and Awareness Campaigns for Orangutan protection at HKBP Church. Lobu Pining Village (February 02, 2020)

On the 2nd of February 2020, Scorpion Foundation and the HKBP Church in Lobu Pining Village carried out socialization and awareness activity for protection of the environment and Tapanuli orangutan. The preacher on the Sunday Sermon included the urgency of protecting tapanuli orangutan and the environment in Tapanuli Ecosystem in her talk. Prior to the Sunday Sermon, Scorpion provided information about Tapanuli orang-utan. Two months ago, human and orangutan conflicts occurred in this village where orangutans were encountered by local community walking near the main road. 172 persons participated in this sermon.
