The Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA-SU) and Scorpion Foundation conducted a joint patrol at Luat Lombang Village, Sipitok, South Tapanuli on February 14, 2020.

The patrol team discovered a small scale illegal logging but further investigation is still needed.
