Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).
Scorpion Insists the New Jakarta Governor to Close Down Illegal Wildlife Market in Jatinegara (Feb 26, 2018)

The Scorpion Foundation (The Wildlife Trade Monitoring Group) insists the new Jakarta Governor, Anies Rasyid Baswedan, to close down the illegal wildlife market in Jatinegara, Jakarta. In a letter to the governor today (Monday), Scorpion reports that this wildlife market is still very active  in trading wildlife which are smuggled to this place without transport permits.

The wildlife on sale in Jatinegara market come from various places in Java and from Sumatra.
