Wednesday, May 6, 2020 The BKSDA team and the Scorpion Team rescued a Mountain Hawk (Spizaetus alboniger) in Aeknabara Village, Marancar District. Initially the team got a report from a local resident who was near the location of the eagle. The team moved quickly and immediately rescued, at that time the bird was raised by Sopyan Hutagalung, he found the bird accidentally, at that time he was putting up a net to catch the bats and it turned out that a Mountain Hawk (Spizaetus alboniger) was caught in his net, and was immediately taken to the net. back home. The confiscated eagle has been taken to the BKSDA Resort office located in Sipirok.Elang District in good condition and under the supervision of the SUMUt BKSDA. The team is currently planning to follow up the release of the re-release of the mountain hawk to its habitat.
