Joint Patrol at Gunung Leuser N.P (May 19, 2020)

A tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae) recently appeared on local community plantation in Bohorok. Rangers from Gunung Leuser NP and Scorpion team carry out a joint patrol activity to monitor the human-wildlice conflict and prevent capture protected wildlife around Gunung Leuser. After 2 days patrolling, visiting 3 villages i.e. Sampe Raya Village, Bukit Kencur and Batu Rongring Village, the tiger presence not identified anymore and the team assume tiger already far from the villages.
