710 release of pleci birds in the Sibolangit Nature Park (May 7, 2020)

Friday, May 8, 2020 Scorpion team together with North Sumatra Law Enforcement Unit, KLHK conducted the release of confiscated pleci birds confiscated on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Law Enforcement Center (Gakkum) Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) of the Sumatra Region, Section Region I Medan confiscated and secured 1,266 peci birds in the operation of forest product distribution. The birds are in 30 boxes. A total of 556 birds have died and 710 are still alive. The surviving bird has been released wild again at the Sibolangit Nature Tourism Park, North Sumatra. Birds that have died immediately buried together with a release place.
