The New Head of Wildlife Authority (BBKSDASU) Meets NGO Officers in South Tapanuli (October 14, 2024)

     On Monday, October 14 2024, the new Head of the BBKSDASU, Novita Kusuma Wardani, S.Hut., M.AP., M.Env., held a meeting with a number of NGOs at Cafe Pudan, Situmba Village, Sipirok subdistrict, South Tapanuli Regency.

    This meeting aims to get to know more closely the leaders of NGOs working in the South Tapanuli Regency area. Meeting participants consisted of field officers in Region III Padangsidimpuan.

  Meanwhile, NGO participants consisted of the Scorpion Foundation, the Sustainable Ecosystem Foundation, Taukah, the Orangutan Information Center (OIC), and the Center for Orangutan Protection (COP).  

   During the meeting, the issue of establishment of wildlife corridors was discussed. The BBKSDASU head confirmed support for the establishment of the corridors in Tapanuli.
