In Taman Safari Park, visitors can have direct contacts with orangutans, and visitors can also hold orangutans . “Allowing visitors to hold orangutans or make direct contacts with orangutans is a form of cruelty to the orangutan- a species having 97 % similarity with human DNA .

Meanwhile in Medan Zoo, visitors can also make direct contact with orangutans. The visitors can give anything to orangutan, including lit cigarette.

"Orangutan show is a cruelty and not healthy," said SCORPION in the letter.
