Posted on 15:34 July 29th, 2016

A group of animal lovers, together with the Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring Group, today converged on the front of Mayor Office in Bandung, West Java in protest of animal cruelty in Bandung zoo. They brought several banners, among others, asking to close down Bandung Zoo.

Senior Investigator from Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring Group, Marion Guciano told the press that his group appeal to all relevant parties to close down Bandung zoo because many animals in this zoo are suffering and starving in dirty enclosures.

“We have regularly monitored this zoo in the last 2 months and found many starving animals in inappropriate condition,” Marison added.
