Central Aceh Resort Police Arrests 5 Tiger Skin Traders (March 14, 2025)

The Central Aceh Resort Police gave a press statement to the media on Saturday, March 15, that they had arrested 5 people involved in the tiger skin trade. As quoted by TB News, in addition to tiger skins, there were also parts of the protected animal's body.

Of the five people arrested, two were intermediaries for the sale. While the other three were the ones who captured and killed the Sumatran tiger. The five suspected perpetrators have the initials S (40), M (50), J (54) R (29) and SA (25).

The five suspects are currently in the Central Aceh Resort Police detention center for further processing.
