One of the tigers, Elsa, already passed away, but another tiger, Giring, is still alive in a cage 3x3 meters size.

On Thursday (12 May 2016) Scorpion Investigator visited this markets and saw there were still so many birds on sale in this market. Scorpion was informed by several traders that the birds were brought to Jakarta without transportation permit (SATS-DN) from BKSDA.

The birds include from species of Enggano White-eye (Zosterops salvadorii), Oriental white-eye (Zosterops palpebrosus), Asian glossy starling (Aplonis panayensis) and hanging parrot (Loriculus). Senior Investigator of Scorpion Foundation, Marison Guciano, told Kompas.com, the birds are smuggled to Jakarta via public bus, courier service, and private cars.
