Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).
Three Slow Lorises Confiscated in Langkat, Sumatra (January 12, 2016)

Three slow lorises were confiscated in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra province. Two of them were confiscated from Mr. Painem in Bukit Lawang village, while another one was confiscated from Mrs. Nurhaijal in Timbang Lawang vilage.

The confiscations were carried out by the Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA) in North Sumatra and the Indonesian Species Conservation Programme (ISCP). Scorpion volunteer also participated to support the ISCP.
