Executive Director of Scorpion Wildlife Monitoring Group Morison Guciano has urged Indonesia's courts to impose harsh punishment upon illegal wildlife traders to give deterrence effect.
"Endangered wildlife trading is rampant in a number of Indonesian cities because the courts give light punishment to the perpetrators," Marison Guciano said here Wednesday.
He cited two cases that happened recently as examples.
