The North Sumatra wildlife authority (BBKSDASU) and Scorpion Foundation rescued 2 protected animals from Mandaioing Natal regency on September 27, 2024.
One of the animals was a crocodile rescued from Batahan III village, Batahan subdistrict while another one was silvered leaf monkey cub rescued from the office of the Batang Gadis National Park (BGNP).
Both animals were taken to BBKSDASU field office in Sipirok. After a medical check, both animals were taken to Pematangsiantar Wildlife Park.
