Otter
circuse at Gembira Loka Zoo (Yogyakarta province) and Lembah Hijau (Lampung
province) have been discontinued after Scorpion campaign to stop this activity.
In
early 2017 Scorpion has issued a heartbreaking video in which the otters were
forced to push the cart in a circus at Gembira Loka Zoo.
In
Lembah Hijau Zoo, furious bears are forced to dance and jump over a ring.
Scorpion investigators who visited both zoos recently have received confirmation
from the zoo that this cruel show has stopped after they received much protest
from our supporters.
