Indonesian Navy Busts Smuggling of One Ton of Pangolins  from Medan, Sumatra, to Malaysia (June 12, 2017)

The Indonesian Navy successfully busted smuggling of one ton of pangolins from Medan to Malaysia Monday night, 12th of June 2017.  The pangolins were raided in a warehouse at Yos Sudarso Street in Medan, North Sumatra.   

Head of the Navy Information Section at Belawan (Medan), Sahala Sinaga quoted by Medan Tribun Jambi saying that the raiding of these protected animals took place when they were being loaded into a truck as preparation for transportation to Malaysia.
