Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).
Illegal Ownership of Protected Birds Reported by Scorpion (April 21, 2017)

The Scorpion Foundation reported an allegedly illegal ownership of two eagles in front of a coffee shop in Jantho village, Aceh Besar district of Aceh province. The report and photographs of the two birds were sent to the Wildlife Authority (BKSDA) in Aceh on Friday (21st of April 2017).


Previously, Scorpion also reported to BKSDA in Aceh about display protected birds in front of Cafe Lambung in Meuraxa sub-district, Banda Aceh. Link previous report.
